The GDS campus closed on March 23rd based on the recommendations from state and local government and health officials as to a stay-at-home order. Gaston Day School will follow the Governor’s direction and keep the GDS campus closed and continue with virtual learning for the remainder of the school year. Our number one priority is to keep our students and staff healthy and safe.

As we continue to move forward, we know we have some big events along the horizon. Graduation is a huge milestone and a time-honored tradition that we look forward to at the end of the school year. Gaston Day School is pleased to share that we are moving forward with a modified Graduation that will take place on the GDS campus on Saturday, May 30 at 11:00 am.  Because of CoVID-19, the safety of our students, their families, and our employees is our top priority as we plan this year’s Graduation.  The ceremony will take place outside in the parking lot of the Frances H. Henry Baseball Field.  Strict social distancing guidelines will be enforced, and all participants will keep a distance of at least six feet. CLICK HERE for more information about Graduation 2020.

While the campus is closed, we are not offering prospective family tours or open houses. We do have a virtual campus tour we would like to walk you through. CLICK HERE FOR OUR VIRTUAL ADMISSIONS PAGE   Contact us at for more information.
