Originally founded in Belmont, North Carolina in 1967, the school moved to its current home in Gastonia in 1971. Over 40 years later, Gaston Day stands on a 60 acre campus and has an enrollment of 500 students in pre-school through twelfth grade.
Although times have changed, Gaston Day continues to build on the principles on which we were founded. Years ago when others saw the Gaston Day School name, they knew it represented pride and excellence. For today's students, our name still means the same thing.
